Originally, our Zip Coin models included a metal zipper. We received many complaints about how they worked and after many tests and prototypes, we decided to change them to plastic zippers.
Our zippers come from the world's largest manufacturer YKK of the VISLON® range.
The zipper teeth are made of POM (polyoxymethylene). A totally inert polymer, very resistant that ensures smooth operation throughout the life of the wallet.
It is the best option for our application in all cases.

- They do not rust or degrade in contact with humidity or chemicals in clothing.
